Wow... hear what Clay Jenkinson, a nationally syndicated Thomas Jefferson expert, TJ impersonator, renowned humanities scholar, had to say when he passed through Salida:

I wanted to go hear him when he was here, but unfortunately, it was sold out... I heard it was completely packed, and a bit stuffy due to all the people crammed into the auditorium.
And Outside Magazine is mentioning us again:

I have to agree though. I'm getting out now about twice a week in the mornings, mostly running with friends, and still feel like I've barely scratched the surface of all the outdoor fun stuff here. Also working my tail off, which is why the blog is fairly quiet. Salida Tech is doing quite well too... I'm even paying myself now!
Actually, both Teresa and I are working our tails off. Teresa has switched from being a part time station coordinator at KHEN, to being a full time chief packing goddess at our local PakMail. She's still doing architectural drafting on the side.

Hope all of you are having a wonderful summer. :-)
