We started off with a breakfast of fresh chicken eggs and bacon Martha provided.  Chris had to leave early this morning.  He's on a schedule and meeting others down the road.  Andrew and I stayed around to help Martha with the chickens and rabbits.

We are closing on our land today.  Around 10:10am we got a call from our realtor.  The closing went off without any problems and we are now the new owners of a lot in Spruce Basin, Cotopaxi, Colorado!

It's hot here, over 100 degrees, but in the shade it doesn't feel so bad.  The air is much drier here than in the east.  When it cooled off a little, we took off and headed south towards Crater Lake.  We found a forest service road along the way for the night.
